Chromium-based browser with Aria, a free built-in AI assistant, plus a sidebar for messengers and other tools.
Opera is a long-running browser, now built on Chromium, that runs on desktop and mobile. It has a sidebar where you can pin messaging apps and tools, and it can install many Chrome extensions.
Its built-in assistant is Aria. It is free to use with an Opera account, opens from the sidebar or the address bar, and can answer questions, summarize pages and help with writing. Opera also offers a gaming edition, Opera GX, with the same assistant.
Things to check: what you need to sign in with to use Aria, which pages or text it sends to the model when you ask about a page, and the regional availability of newer AI features. Opera has also announced agent-style browsing projects; those are listed separately once we can confirm they are generally available.
Not enough info yet on chrome extension, developer API. Check the tool's own site.
