Why this directory exists

AI features are arriving in the browser faster than most people can keep track of. Every week brings a new sidebar, a new agent or a new browser with an assistant built in, and the marketing for each one sounds much the same. What gets lost is the plain detail people need to choose well: what the tool actually does, what it can see, and where your text goes.

NetLooking exists to make that detail easy to find. We describe each tool in our own words, note permissions and privacy points where they matter, and leave out the scores and rankings that would mean pretending we tested everything equally. The aim is a short list you can check in a few minutes, with a link to the official site for the rest.

The site is maintained by a small team and funded by clearly labeled sponsored placements. Paying for a placement never changes what we write about a tool, and makers cannot buy their way past the checks we run before listing.

How tools are chosen and described

NetLooking lists AI tools that work in or on the web browser: full browsers with assistants, extensions and sidebars, browsing agents, summarizers, reading and tab tools, clippers, privacy-minded AI chat, web automation and translation. Each listing has a one-line description we wrote ourselves, the basic facts we could confirm, and a link to the official site.

There are no star ratings or rankings. Browser tools change fast, and new features often arrive in previews that only some people can use, so we hold those back until we can confirm them. If a listing is out of date, tell us and we will fix it.

Right now that is 51 AI browsing tools in 9 categories, last checked 2026-11-03.

Makers can submit or claim a listing for free. A person checks every request before anything changes. Paid placements are marked Sponsored wherever they appear, and they never change what we write about a tool.

Corrections and removals

If a listing is wrong, or a tool has shut down, tell us. We answer within a week and rebuild the directory with the change.
