Long-running read-it-later service that saves articles in a clean reading view for later, on web and mobile.

Read-it-later app for articles, PDFs, newsletters and feeds, with highlighting and an AI helper for questions and summaries.
Readwise Reader is a reading app from Readwise. You save articles from the browser with its extension, forward newsletters to a personal address, add RSS feeds and upload PDFs, and they all land in one queue that you can read on the web, desktop or phone.
You can highlight and tag as you read, and the highlights sync to notes apps such as Obsidian and Notion through Readwise. Its built-in AI helper, Ghostreader, can define terms, summarize a document or answer questions about it, and you can edit the prompts it uses.
Things to check: Reader is part of a paid Readwise subscription, with a trial. Decide which notes app you want highlights to end up in before you build a habit around it, and check how exports work so your highlights stay yours.
